What’s new in November 2020

We're delighted to bring you our brand new app which will make it even easier to engage with your members. Alongside this, we've been continuing to make improvements across the entire system and here are the details.

Meet your Church App!

Today is the launch of a Progressive Web App (PWA) for your church. Install it now by going to on your mobile or tablet to see what it looks like. You will see an install button at the top of the screen.

If you have engaged with us about the layout and styling of the app we hope you like what you see! If you have not yet been in touch about the style/layout, then please review this article.

For the full details of the app, with an installation guide for your members please read this article.

Phone number entry

We've made a significant enhancement to the way phone numbers are entered across the entire system to make this more intuitive and to provide consistent formatting across your site.

PhoneNumber2Users found the previous method of separate boxes for international code, area code and number confusing and it led to numerous inconsistencies in the way numbers were entered and formatted. These have been replaced with a single box which can handle a range of input styles and will then automatically format the number consistently according to its geographic location.
When displayed in address books and other (non-editable) places around your site, numbers are presented in local format when they belong to your site's default country, and in international format otherwise. Phone numbers are also clickable in these contexts, which is particularly useful on phones where the number can be called directly.

Other improvements and bug fixes

We're always looking for ways to make things better and we fix bugs as quickly as we can after they are discovered. This release is no exception and we have fixed various bugs for you.
